Summertime Shades with Stacy Garcia's Edited Oasis

Inspired by the nature of the desert and the modern architecture that surrounds it, Edited Oasis is anchored by a juxtaposition of textural and clean design elements. With a pared down, refreshing palette, escape and relaxation are closer than we think. Soothing, succulent greens and soft shades of blues are coupled with dusty peach and mauve.

Sandy hues and the rich tones of warm amber shine through, while earthy neutrals reinforce the feeling of familiarity and quietude.

Mixin' it Up with Stacy Garcia's Abstract Traditions

Featuring a twist on traditional, Abstract Traditions is symbolized by a playful mix of pattern and saturated yet classic colors. Embodying the best of maximalism, playful old world elements and expressive layering provide a modern take of an everlasting aesthetic.

Bigger and bolder being key, vibrant hues such as coral and bright teal, blended with damasks, florals and geometrics are the signature elements of this trend.

Connect with Nature through Curated Calm

Calm, cool, and collected. Prioritizing comfort and tranquility, Curated Calm is the result of a movement gravitating towards natural goods by keeping the materials in the most neutral state possible and using natural dyes and stains to color the end product.

These neutral wood tones and artisan textures amplify the feeling of serenity through simple details such as basket weaves and woven fibers. Each perfectly imperfect elements emphasizes the sensation of being one with nature.

All About: Santa Fe by Brintons

The story begins In November of 2019, when the Brintons team (naive to the following year’s insanity) traveled to New Mexico for a Brintons Design Conference.

After spending the weekend diving headfirst into the local art + maker scene, brushing up on the latest carpet design practices, reconnecting with carpet loving colleagues and celebrating all things Brintons, the team of creatives begins the journey to next groundbreaking design collection.

Following the path carved by our Self-Expression Project, an experiment where carpet designers were given different inspirational catalysts to respond to, the Brintons team looks to open the horizons of creation just a bit more. With Self-Expression’s second chapter, designers are given the space to choose their individual inspiration themselves.

Brintons designers were inspired by the variety of the “Fanta Se” art world has to offer by spending time immersed in Meow Wolf’s glowing alternate universe, dissecting the collection at the Georgia O’Keefe Museum, and learning weaving techniques from the Trujillo family in Chimayo.

Inspired by community, collaboration and the magic of The City Different, our designers created a collection of sixteen fully customizable Axminster carpet patterns, woven with our 80/20 wool-nylon blend, curated with the hospitality market in mind.
