The Royal Automobile Club

The Royal Automobile Club was founded in 1897 by motoring pioneers with its prestigious Pall Mall clubhouse offering its members a comfortable place to stay and relax, with first-class facilities and a busy programme of events.

Brintons have supplied carpet to the Club for many years and as part of a maintenance programme we were delighted to again, design and supply exclusive handtufted carpet to the reception areas and lift lobbies.

As a feature of the entrance, the rotunda displays exclusive and classic vehicles. The design of the reception carpets echoes the rotunda rooflight with the swirls echoing the patterns of the fretwork. The lift lobbies use a striking red and complementary blue pattern to zone the waiting areas.
