Prince Edward Island Convention Centre
Brintons collaborated with SGH to create a custom carpet for the lobby and conference spaces at Prince Edward Island Convention Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Inspired by an aerial view of the island’s coastline, the design features flowing forms that evoke Atlantic waves meeting sandy dunes. Rather than a repeating pattern, the carpet unfolds organically across the floor plate, creating a unified yet unique experience throughout the space.
A palette of warm sandy neutrals and deep ocean blues reflects the natural beauty of Prince Edward Island, bringing a calming sense of place while complementing the surrounding architecture.
The result is a bespoke carpet that transforms the floor into an immersive expression of the island’s coastal landscape and East Coast hospitality.
Working with the Brintons team on the custom carpet for the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre was a great experience.
