DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Chester
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester is an 18th Century manor house on the outskirts of historic Chester. Brintons supplied custom Axminster carpets for the bedrooms and corridors as part of a recent refurbishment project. The design and colour palette was selected to complement the artwork that acknowledged the area’s botanical heritage, including nods to orchids and alpine plants that were once cultivated locally. The carpets and artwork paired together to create spaces that offer a luxurious, relaxing, and welcoming environment for guests.
You’ll find subtle references to the local rail industry throughout the interiors, with details that reflect the industrial character of classic trains. The corridor layout echoes the feeling of walking through an enclosed train carriage, with colour-drenched walls and black accents bringing a contemporary interpretation of a timeless motif.
