Brownsover Hall Hotel
Brownsover Hall Hotel in Rugby, England, is a former family manor turned luxury hotel, restaurant and gardens. Its grand Gothic Revival style was designed in the 19th century by architect, George Gilbert Scott the Younger, a dynasty famous for many other prestigious settings such as the Midland Grand Hotel, (which now adorns a custom Brintons axminster staircase as the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel) and the iconic British red telephone box amongst others!
Since the 1970s the Hall has been a hotel, with a thoughtful restoration project taking place more recently which Brintons were honoured to play a key part of. These custom axminster carpets helped to zone and personalise the quirky and characterful spaces of the hotel, ranging from the ornate leaf pattern of the hallway and stair runner to neutral designs for the unique guest bedrooms and loose laid hand tufted rugs in the lobby area.
The custom Brintons carpets have transformed the character of Brownsover Hall. From the ornate leaf pattern on the staircase to the hand-tufted rugs in the lobby, every piece feels as though it was made for these rooms — because it was. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and the result is exactly what a Victorian Gothic house deserves.
