Baptist Street Rec Club

Brintons supplied custom designed Axminster carpet for Baptist St Rec Club, a vibrant hospitality destination perched above Island Radio within Redfern’s Wunderlich Lane precinct.

Designed by Studio Etic, the venue reimagines the classic Australian pub through a nostalgic late-1980s and early- 1990s lens, blending familiar pub culture with contemporary energy.

The custom carpet was developed to complement an interior rich in warm timber panelling, exposed brickwork, vintage sporting memorabilia and layered graphic elements. Working in harmony with the venue’s eclectic character, the Axminster design helps define the atmosphere across a series of adaptable spaces—from intimate banquette seating and casual drinking areas to lively entertainment zones and late-night dance floors.
