Studio Play

Studio Play is a new series of hands-on creative workshops created exclusively for the in-house design team at Brintons.

Designed as a space away from the desk, Studio Play encourages experimentation, instinct, and creative freedom. The aim is simple: to step outside the expected, loosen the process, and rediscover the joy of making.

The first workshop invited the team to work with fluid acrylic inks - not to design, not to produce, but simply to play.  The focus was on movement, colour, interaction and spontaneity.  By removing the pressure to 'design', the team found space to experiment, layer and respond istinctively.

What emerged was a body of expressive, unexpected work - rich in depth, gesture and atmosphere.

From this freedom came the foundations of this new collection: Ink paintings translated in to carpet designs, born from exploration rather than instruction, and from material curiosity rather than trend forecasting.
