Brintons proudly presents our Self Expression Summer 2025 collection from Kathy Heron-Duff, Senior Designer.

Born from boundless imagination, inspired by fantasy, and shaped by a passion for storytelling, the Dreambound collection explores the delicate threshold between reality and reverie—a space where visual art, language, and emotion converge.

Dreambound blends impressionistic forms, layered textures, and moody palettes into an immersive experience. Inspired by myth, select designs subtly evoke dragons and their shimmering scales through intricate patterns and rich detail.

Whether placed in a corridor, a grand lobby, or an intimate ballroom, these seven designs are meant to be remembered—just as a guest recalls a space long after the journey ends, tied to the visuals that moved them.

About Kathy Heron-Duff, Designer of Dreambound

I've been in the carpet industry for 30 years, initially starting in design and adding the sales portion about 12 years ago. Beyond family and two amazing granddaughters, my passions lie in creativity. When asked about my medium, I don’t have a specific answer—it's the desired outcome that defines the medium, whether it’s sketching, working with glass, painting, or drafting last night’s laser idea.

Designing carpets allows me to combine my love for art with function, bringing unique and thoughtful designs into memorable spaces.

Whether I’m sketching a new pattern, painting, or spending time in my gardens, I find inspiration in the colors, textures, and beauty around me. We need only stop, breathe, look, and truly see.
