Brintons proudly presents our Self Expression Fall 2025 collection from Francis Pye, Senior Designer.

BRIXL draws inspiration from the eclectic aesthetics of city architecture, celebrating the rich tapestry of patterns, culture and nostalgic charm found while wandering urban streets.

It aims to evoke a retro revival spirit by infusing classic Art Deco elements with a funky Pop-Art twist, resulting in a fresh and dynamic visual experience.

Bold geometric forms and vibrant colour palettes come together to create an energetic, playful vibe that reimagines vintage motifs through a contemporary lens.

Each piece is designed to take the viewer on a multisensory journey­where texture, pattern, and colour converge to excite and stimulate the senses.

About Francis Pye, Designer of BRIXL

Francis is an accomplished designer with over 12 years of experience in the carpet industry. He holds a degree in Illustration and Visual Communication from the University of Lincoln (2009) and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Painting from Liverpool John Moores University (2012). After graduating, he became a Junior Designer, later moving into Production Design before expanding his expertise into Planning. Over the years, he has continued to refine and broaden his skills, building a deep knowledge of carpet design and creative production.

Outside of his design work, Francis has a passion for photography, learning and education, as well as travel. When he’s not taking on a new collage course to develop fresh skills, he like to enjoy the outdoors to visit historic sites, and hiking through nature to find inspiration in the landscapes around him. A lifelong devoted animal lover, he has recently adopted a Romanian rescue dog named Maddison – affectionately nicknamed Miss Wiggles for her joyful morning greeting dance.
