We’ve always believed in producing the best quality possible, which makes our products real masterpieces. Firstly, after selecting the best wools worldwide, we spin and dye all our own yarn.
Secondly, we do this using our own yarn formula, the ‘Brintons blend’, invented by us in the 1950s to combine the softness of 80 per cent wool with the durability of 20 per cent nylon.
Finally, we are the only carpet company in the world to design and make our own looms: we’ve found that this is the only way to ensure total accuracy and quality. It all goes to create products which will outlast and outperform other carpets you could buy.

After selecting only the best wool, we spin and dye the yarn, and then assign the correct colours to the loom. For a patterned carpet the loom picks up the yarn as it needs each colour, and weaves it into a design line by line. Every metre of carpet is inspected by eye twice, and finished by hand before it leaves the factory.
