The Kempegowda International Airport or Bangalore International Airport as it was formerly called was opened in 2008. It is the third busiest airport in India after Delhi and Mumbai. The terminal building is designed to accommodate 5,400 passengers at peak hours. It has been designed with a keen eye for being user friendly, making it a truly passenger focused airport.  

Brintons have supplied about 5000 sqmts of its bespoke carpets in the walkways, prayer rooms and ramp corridors. The 1228MA axminster carpet design is based on traditional bright Indian Rangoli patterns.
