William Omni Penn, PA, US

History defines elegance in this classic, downtown Pittsburgh hotel. Since opening the doors in 1916, the Omni William Penn Hotel has played a starring role in the city of Pittsburgh, hosting movie stars, politi- cians, heads of state and leaders of industry. A recent multi-million dollar renovation has only enhanced the beauty of this luxury hotel. Renowned for its timeless beautyand sophistication, this National Historic landmark is nestled in the heart of downtown.

Brintons supplied carpet for the two-tier Grand Ballroom, with dramatic balconies and space to accommo- date up to 1,200 guests. Brintons collaborated with CMMI Inc., to design the William Penn Ballroom, the Art Deco Urban Room and guest room corridors. The inspiration for the design scheme in the Art Deco Urban Room was influenced by a ceiling mural by artist Joseph Urban.

We gravitated to Esther Dunbar collection that was inspired by 19th Century botanical lithographs. Hand sketched patterns with a modern use of scale and composition gives an organic, fluid mix that evokes sophistication. It is a statement of simplicity that melds with a traditional setting. The very talented team at Brintons helped us achieve an exceptional design and the quality and customer service we received was tremendous!
