E. Tautz, London

Luxury, ready-to-wear menswear brand, E. Tautz have opened their first flagship London store: a two floor, 2,000 square feet space on Duke Street in London's Mayfair. The business sits just a few hundred yards from the original store of London tailor Edward Tautz, from whom the brand gets it name, which opened in 1867.

The store, created by architects Sanderson Studios, takes its design style from the 1950s and 1960s; the interior features stripped back walls, beautiful mid-century furniture and a rich wooden clad staircase.

Company owner Patrick Grant personally selected Brintons True Velvet Wilton carpet in Space for the new store; the grey shade perfectly complements the contemporary surroundings.

At E. Tautz we are passionate about quality and heritage. Our products are made in Britain by the finest craftsmen and women in their field. We wanted every aspect of our Duke St store to mirror these values and we are delighted and proud of our beautiful Brintons carpet
