Shipping & Distribution Co-ordinator
We are seeking to recruit a Shipping and Distribution Co-ordinator to join our Commercial Support Division. Operating from our No 6 Site, Kidderminster, the key responsibilities of this role are:
• The effective and pro-active delivery of shipping and distribution services worldwide to meet the needs and demands of the business
• Managing and developing a small but skilled team of freight specialists
• Managing and negotiating freight contracts
• Managing a freight budget including cost and recovery
• Managing departmental overheads
• Maintaining a structured and compliant approach to shipping/documentation
• Processing bank applications for import letters of credit and monitoring the payments
• Providing technical support to the operation of export letters of credit
• Developing new processes and procedures
• Proactive resolution of issues
Candidates are required to posess the following skills:
• Previous experience of working within a similar environment including: letters of credit (import and export), world wide shipping and Incoterms 2000
• Confidence with the ability to self motivate
• Experience of team leadership and people management
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
• Ability to work without supervision, to tight deadlines and demanding requirements
• A positive attitude to deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
EMEA Design Consultant
We are seeking to recruit a Design Consultant with proven success and experience to operate from the London area. The successful candidate will join an established selling and design team throughout the EMEA region and the rest of the world, the key aspects of this role are:
• Develop both existing and new commercial business
• Work closely with the A & D markets, flooring contractors and other key decision makers
• Establishing project viability
• Management of project from initiation through to implementation
• Develop and manage own territory area and achieve set sales targets
• The provision of creative and innovative design solutions
Candidates are required to posess the following skills:
• Experience of working within a similar environment
• Proven design and sales success in A & D specification.
• Possess the skills required to open doors to new contacts and develop business
• The ability to generate projects to achieve sales growth
• Capable in using the leading CAD programmes and experience in CRM processes
• Excellent interpersonal, project management, presentation, organisation, IT and team player skills
• Driven and determined to succeed in a competitive selling environment.
