Franche Community School pupils get the chance to design their new carpet
2nd October 2013
Franche Community School in Kidderminster, Worcestershire approached Brintons to provide carpet for their reception area and offices.
Ian Barton, Commercial Business Manager at Brintons and Val Weddell Hall, Headteacher thought it would be great idea to encourage the pupils creativity by asking them to produce a design for the new carpet.
During a special assembly held earlier this week, Ian gave a presentation on how carpet was created before telling the children about the exciting competition the school and Brintons will be running. The pupil who produces the winning design will get to see it being woven on the looms at Brintons factory in Kidderminster. They will also be presented with a sample of the carpet and a gift voucher.
