Brintons launches new range for the Healthcare sector

11th October 2013

Brintons is excited to announce the launch of a new range of carpets aimed at the Healthcare market.

The new range is Brintons’ first designed specifically for the Healthcare sector and marks a further diversification of the business to supplement its other key sectors, including the casino industry, cruise liners, hotels and luxury real estate.

Historically, the healthcare market has often compromised creative design and style in favour of functionality and clinical environments. However, Brintons’ new Healthcare range combines bold and bespoke axminster designs with practicality, safety and comfort.

The new carpets fulfil all the requirements and needs of healthcare by producing a product that is protective, using anti-microbial technology, has an impervious back to help with spillages, is easy to clean and is durable. The carpets also help trap airborne fibres, which help reduce the risk for asthma and some other allergy sufferers.

The high-end Healthcare market is moving away from clinical environments to spaces similar to 5 star hotels and more homely settings, particularly for those in residential homes and retirement communities. It is this emerging global trend that Brintons is seeking to take advantage of.

The new market is likely to include retirement villages, private healthcare practices, and clinics. Using its proprietary technology, including High Definition Weave, Brintons is providing the technical solutions to the demands of this evolving market.
