Brintons carpet showcased at the Sleep Hotel

The Sleep Hotel is the inspirational highlight of the Sleep event, which is Europe’s premier trade exhibition for interior hotel products, held at the Business Design Centre, London between the 20th-21st of November.
Often considered “the catwalk of hotel design”, the sleep hotel challenges both established and new design companies to explore fresh and inventive concepts, to create building room sets with their fit-out partners, that could actually translate into a real life hotel environment.
The design brief for this years Sleep Hotel was to create a “newly refurbished” suite in a hotel originally built in the 1960s; the design companies contributing this year were Kelly Hoppen Interiors/Crosswater, Squared Interiors/Dea Contracts, Purpose Design, BDP/Sharkey Group and The Hickson Design Partnership.
Brintons worked in collaboration with The Hickson Design Partnership to supply carpet for their stunning room set called the NightNight Suite. HDP is a London and Turin Architecture and Interior Design practice specialising in Hospitality and High End Residential Projects.
The NightNight Suite is a reminder of happy times, when perhaps a childhood “NightNight” was the last think your heard before a blissful nights sleep.
NightNight Suite is a design concept created to evoke the creative wave that was the sixties, when suddenly mass media, European fashion, rock music, art and design literally exploded.
Now brought fully up to date, and made more comfortable with a modern international blend of Italian and British styling and an infusion of connectivity.
The Suite is a deconstructed room space refurbishment with residential styling and personal touches, to offer the guest the pleasure of a welcoming and fulfilling experience.
HDG had this to say. “The ‘60s was a decade which saw availability and possibility like never before,” she explains. “Our suite will be inspired by the lives behind the art of the period while combining some of the latest collections and products. At the same time, it will have a domestic quality and bring private comfort to the guest”.
